Join us to learn more about signature gathering efforts to try and get two items on the November 2026 ballot for voters to decide on.
Portland Police Association is asking Portland voters for 25% of the excess Portland Clean Energy Funds to help increase police staffing levels. While it will still not put us at 100%, it will put Portland in a safer position to have a guarantee of being able to staff up to more officers on duty.
Voter Fairness Oregon is asking all Oregon voters to open up our state government primary elections. 43% of Oregonians are Independent or Non-Affiliated Voters (NAVs), meaning their tax dollars fund the primary elections but they do not get to participate. This would open up the Governor, House and Senate state seats in the May primaries to all voters.
